From Shanken:
Park City, Utah-based High West Distillery & Saloon has unveiled plans for a new whiskey production facility. The 25,000-square-foot project will grow High West’s distilling capacity and feature increased storage for whiskey barrel aging, as well as a visitor’s center. Slated to be completed by December 2013, the expansion is part of High West’s recent partnership with nearby luxury guest lodge Blue Sky Ranch to create a “cultural destination” for tourists. Named Whisky Advocate’s 2011 “Whiskey Pioneer of the Year,” High West Distillery & Saloon is best known for its extensive range of craft whiskies, which are currently available in 39 states throughout the U.S., as well as in Canada, China and the U.K.
