About Stranahan’s Distillery:

Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey, located in Denver, is the first legal whiskey distillery in Colorado since Prohibition. Founded in 2004 by volunteer firefighter Jess Graber and brewery owner George Stranahan, it pioneered the American Single Malt category.

Stranahan's focuses exclusively on single malts made from 100% malted barley and Rocky Mountain water.

• Stranahan's Original: Their flagship small-batch whiskey, aged 4+ years in new charred American oak barrels. It features notes of caramel, vanilla, and maple syrup.
• Blue Peak: An approachable, high-altitude single malt that is Solera finished for a rich, mellow profile.
• Diamond Peak: An annual limited release consisting of special cask-finished whiskeys, such as those aged in ex-beer or ex-rum barrels.
• Sherry Cask: A four-year-old single malt finished in Oloroso Sherry barrels for added depth.
• Snowflake: A highly coveted annual release available only one day a year at the distillery. Each batch is a unique blend of various cask finishes.

• Tours: The standard American Single Malt Whiskey Tour (approx. $20) covers the "grain-to-glass" process and includes tastings.
• Whiskey Lodge & Lounge: Visitors can enjoy cocktails and rare drams at the nation's #1 rated whiskey bar (per Yelp). A second location, the Stranahan's Whiskey Lodge, recently opened in Aspen.
• Specialty Classes: They host cocktail-making classes, "Comedy & Cocktails" nights, and technical "Experimental" tastings.
• Bottling Crew: A unique tradition where volunteers can sign up for a lottery to help bottle whiskey in exchange for food and a free bottle.
