The Toucan concept

The idea for Toucan Cocktails originated in an MBA entrepreneurship class at Southern Methodist University. Co-founders John Dallager and Steven McCarthy aimed to solve the issue of a lack of premium, portable cocktail options. The final product was designed for quality and convenience in settings where bar-quality drinks are typically unavailable, such as on the road, at a picnic, or at a party.

The packaging is central to the Toucan experience, featuring two cans that snap together. To make a drink, you add ice, then combine the ingredients by pouring the top can's contents into the bottom can before shaking and enjoying.
