Flying Tumbler is an independent, family-owned Irish whiskey brand, launched in 2020 by the Walsh family, inspired by the Irish Flying Tumbler pigeon and their own return to Ireland after world travels; they source, blend, and bottle premium Irish whiskey, focusing on quality, transparency, and storytelling with expressions like The Bird and The Tippler, aiming to be both approachable and distinctive.

• Name & Inspiration: Named after the Irish Flying Tumbler pigeon, symbolizing adventure and homecoming, reflecting the founders' journey back to Ireland from places like London and Boston.
• Ownership: An independent, family-owned brand, continuing their family's legacy in agriculture (growing malting barley).
• Philosophy: A focus on honest, quality Irish whiskey with no gimmicks, aiming for transparency and good stories.
• Production: They source barrels from various places, handle finishing, blending, and bottling in-house, rather than distilling themselves.

Our family has grown award winning malting barley on our farm for generations. Continuing this agrarian tradition is important to us.
