Ardagh Group and Heaven Hill Brands collaborate to launch premium spirits bottles

Indianapolis (Sept. 10, 2020) – Ardagh Group, Glass – North America, a business unit of Ardagh Group and the largest domestic manufacturer of glass bottles for the U.S. spirits market, announced a long-term supply agreement with Heaven Hill Brands, the largest independent, family-owned and operated distilled spirits supplier, to manufacture the majority of its premium spirits bottles in the U.S.

Distinctive glass packaging is an essential element of Heaven Hill Brands’ iconic spirits portfolio, such as Evan Williams Bourbon, Elijah Craig Bourbon, Deep Eddy Vodka, Burnett’s Vodka and Admiral Nelson’s Rum. Heaven Hill Brands worked alongside Ardagh to manufacture customized, premium spirits bottles with unique embossing and textures, ranging in size from 375ml to 1.75 L.

Glass spirits bottles preserve the true taste of the product, are 100 percent and endlessly recyclable, and can go from the recycling bin to the store shelf in as little as 30 days.

Heaven Hill Brands utilized Ardagh’s Vision4Glass^SM approach to collaborate directly with the product design team, as well as Ardagh’s Development Machine, a highly flexible glass forming system capable of quick changes, to provide speed to market for its custom bottle designs.

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 8, 2020- Seven Jars Distillery, a Charlotte-based business, has partnered with the Ava Gardner™ Trust and Legacy Talent and Entertainment to produce a unique Ava Gardner Select Bourbon Whiskey, which will be available for a limited release beginning on October 16, 2020.  Born on December 24, 1922 in Grabtown, North Carolina, Ava Gardner rose to international fame as an actress during a career that spanned over four decades.  Her role as Kitty Collins in the 1946 classic The Killers cemented her as the iconic symbol of the Film Noir era and her legacy as perhaps the most alluring starlet of Hollywood's Golden Age endures to this day.

Ava Gardner's life was characterized by her beauty and talent on the screen, but her down-to-earth approach in her personal life, coupled with her independent spirit, endeared her to generations of fans worldwide.  In many ways, she was a woman ahead of her time; not afraid to speak her mind, not one to follow the "status quo," and not afraid to buck the system.  The Ava Gardner Select Bourbon Whiskey reflects much of this character - smooth and flavorful, with just the right amount of "kick!"
