Watershed Distillery Launches Bourbon Barrel Gin 9/8

imageDBR:

Ohio-based Watershed Distillery is all set to launch its Bourbon Barrel Gin for sale on 8 September 2012 in the US.

Bourbon Barrel Gin is created by aging Watershed's Four Peel Gin in bourbon barrels for a period of 9-12 months.

Watershed Distillery co-founder Greg Lehman told bizjournals.com that bourbon and gin are two important products.

"Naturally, we wondered what would result if our gin was influenced by a tasty bourbon barrel," he added.

The gin is a smooth, round spirit that either be sipped or mixed with other drinks.

As part of the launch, the distillery is hosting an open house on 7 September 2012 at 11pm, following which Bourbon Barrel Gin will be released at midnight.

In response to a changed law that allows micro distilleries to sell products on-site, Watershed will offer samples and bottles for sale at a price of $39.95 at the 1145 Chesapeake Avenue premises.

The gin would also be distributed to state liquor stores in Columbus and Cleveland
