Distilled at Green River Distilling Co., founded in 1885 and renowned as the 10th oldest licensed distillery in Kentucky, ROW 94 is crafted with Three Ingredients and The Truth - premium grain, purified Kentucky limestone water, and cultivated yeast. "Through the process, I visited a lot of distilleries and we ended up partnering with one of the greatest in Kentucky," says Bentley. "It's been so much fun to be part of the 'backstage crew' and learn what it takes from start to finish and get to know the people who work there - it's a uniquely American process in a lot of ways."

Made with 70% Kentucky-grown corn, 21% rye, and 9% malted and row barley, ROW 94 is a 94-proof whiskey aged for 4 years in new White Oak barrels with a level 4 char that penetrates deep into the staves for greater complexity and character. It boasts heavy notes of vanilla and toffee to start with a subtle green apple flavor underneath. The whiskey finishes with hints of honey and tobacco.

The Crown Royal Rig delivers a grand tailgate featuring custom details including a chrome Crown Royal grill complete with the brand's iconic pillow logo hood ornament. Since the program's inception in 2014, ANGEL'S ENVY and the Arbor Day Foundation have replenished over 311,000 White Oak trees, which are estimated to prevent enough stormwater runoff to hydrate 213,710 people for a day, sequester 135,000 metric tons of CO2, and filter enough air to provide over 1.2 million people with breathable oxygen for a day over a projected 40-year period.

HAMILTON, Bermuda, Sept. 3, 2024  ANGEL'S ENVY®, the global brand that produces finished whiskeys at their Louisville-based distillery, and the Arbor Day Foundation, the world's largest member nonprofit dedicated to planting trees, enter their 11th year of partnership for the annual Toast the Trees initiative, celebrating over a decade of impact. Since the program's inception in 2014, ANGEL'S ENVY and the Arbor Day Foundation have planted over 311,000 White Oak trees. Based on 40-year estimates provided by the Arbor Day Foundation using the USDA Forest Service's i-Tree tools, these trees are projected to help avoid 17.5 million gallons of water runoff (enough water to hydrate 213,710 people for one day), sequester 135,000 metric tons of CO2, and remove 428 tons of air pollutants (filtering enough air to provide over 1.2 million people with breathable oxygen for a day). In Kentucky alone, more than 40,000 trees have been planted across 62 acres, leaving a lasting impact on this vital habitat.

Each September, in honor of U.S. National Bourbon Heritage Month, Toast the Trees emphasizes the importance of planting trees, from urban canopy restoration to replenishing White Oak forests to support for a more sustainable future for all. Bourbon must legally be aged in new oak barrels, and the white oak tree is the most common type harvested for North American cooperages. Each white oak tree yields between one and three barrels and takes about 70 years to mature.

NEW YORK, Sept. 3, 2024 - To mark 200 Years Young, The Macallan is releasing two unique new whiskies in a celebration of the brand's interpretation of time travel through whisky mastery, presented in bespoke vessels created through cutting edge engineering and ancient craftsmanship.

TIME : SPACE COLLECTION:

The first is TIME : SPACE – a dual chamber vessel that includes the oldest whisky released by The Macallan at 84 Years Old, as well as a second single malt that marks the first from the brand's new distillery. The second release, TIME : SPACE Mastery, is a unique single malt with layers of complexity that embraces 200 years of history. Both releases are symbolic expressions of The Macallan, shaped by an ongoing dedication to incomparable craftsmanship and creativity, while highlighting a deep connection to nature. The Macallan has designed both creations in TIME : SPACE COLLECTION to depict nature's protection of its future, while also representing time travel with the past and future combined.

With only 200 in existence, one for each year of The Macallan's History, TIME : SPACE captures the essence of time travel – a spirit spanning incomparable craft across generations. The vessel has been designed with two chambers to hold each of the whiskies - housed in the outer chamber is the 1940 vintage, representing the past. Two casks meticulously hand selected - a first fill American Oak Butt and second fill European Oak Butt - both seasoned with sherry in Jerez de la Frontera and matured peacefully surrounded by nature in Speyside, Scotland. Bottled at 43.6% ABV, an extraordinary 84 years of maturation has produced rich natural color, exceptional depth and richness and full, long-lasting flavor unique to this rare, aged single malt Scotch whisky.

As a counterpart, the single malt housed in the central chamber is a 2018 vintage, marking a significant milestone as the first ever whisky from The Macallan's new distillery - a nod to the future of the brand and its commitment to excellence in its whiskies. During the transition to the new Distillery in 2018, The Macallan went to exacting standards to secure the continuity of the single malt quality and signature taste.

The unique vessel is displayed in an oak sculpture which has been purposefully designed to accentuate the 100% natural color of the whisky, and alternate layers of American oak and European oak have been selected to craft the display sculpture, as a homage to the brand's commitment to sherry seasoned oak casks.

TIME : SPACE Mastery embraces 200 years of history – a one-of-a-kind The Macallan release celebrating the craft of whisky mastery by featuring 14 exceptional cask types, creating layers of complexity with an incredible depth of aroma, texture and flavor.

The whisky is housed in a crafted circular vessel representing the circle of life and the ongoing journey from the past to the future. In contrast to the subtlety of the exterior, the presentation case bursts to life with a vibrant red color – synonymous with The Macallan - and 200 spikes, for the brand's bicentennial year, represent how nature guards what is most precious and fragile. The intricate details are created using techniques stemming from the art of origami, to protect what is most valued for The Macallan, its incomparable whisky.

1940 Vintage | Aged 84 Years
Nose:
Dark chocolate coated ginger, sticky dates and leather combine with antique oak and delicate hints of aromatic peat and ground coffee.
Palate:
Charred pineapple and baked peaches lead to crystalized ginger, hints of aniseed, blackberry jam and sweet woodsmoke.  Rich resinous notes linger on the palate alongside caramelized sugar.
Finish:
An extremely long finish with notes of dark chocolate and toasted oak.
ABV:
43.4%

2018 Vintage | Aged 5 Years
Nose:
Vibrant notes of fresh green apple and ripe pears, leads onto rich sticky toffee, honey, vanilla custard and soft wood spice.
Palate:
Golden sultanas and baked apples develop into buttery pastry dusted in icing sugar. Hints of lemon and lime follow, alongside vanilla shortbread.
Finish:
A medium finish, creamy, with sweet oak.
ABV: 54.9%

TIME : SPACE Mastery

Nose:
Sumptuous Medjool dates, sweet baked figs and rich milk chocolate accompanied by delicate hints of honey and tropical character, reminiscent of dried mango and ripe papaya. Encapsulated by complex sweet oak.
Palate:
A real sweetness is evident with sherry-soaked dried fruits, orange marmalade and honeycomb. Soft spiced notes of ginger and cinnamon develop.
Finish:
Bursts of caramelized pineapple and creamy vanilla linger with the exquisite balance of subtle dark chocolate and coffee.

Redemption's unique take on the Sur Lie process, influencing winemaking for over 500 years, begins with Redemption's classic pre-Prohibition rye mash bill that boasts an impressive 95% rye content. Breaking from conventional whiskey-making norms, Redemption adds the flavorful backset that comes off the still during distillation, called the "whiskey lees," into the barrels before aging. By periodically rotating the barrels during the aging process, the "lees" and whiskey continually interact, naturally infusing the whiskey with even more character. The "Sur Lee" method intensifies the rye's complexity to further enhance and develop the whiskey. Before bottling, Sur Lee is non-chill filtered to maintain optimal flavors and aromas. The result is a dimensional whiskey with a floral upfront, nutty backdrop and decadent, buttery notes of toasted marshmallow, maple and nutmeg, balanced with a lingering spicy finish.

Old Elk Cognac Cask Finish Straight Wheat Whiskey (47.5% ABV/95 Proof) begins after six years of aging the Straight Wheat Whiskey, with an additional 6 months to a year of finishing in carefully selected French Limousine Cognac Casks. On its own, Wheat Whiskey is unique and delicate, yet approachable, celebrated for its sweet notes of fruit and hints of spice. The secondary finish in world-class Cognac casks brings forward rich layers of flavor, including dark fruit and honeycomb.

The first-of-its-kind joint venture reflects a shared vision between Knowles-Carter and Moët Hennessy, two vanguards of culture and craft, around the future of American whisky.

This unique product was years in the making after Knowles-Carter, a Japanese whisky enthusiast, sought out Moët Hennessy to help craft a one-of-a-kind flavor profile that reflected her whisky ideal. Meanwhile, Moët Hennessy had been exploring ways to deepen its presence in the American whisky market, making the timing kismet for a partnership between the world-leading luxury group and Knowles-Carter.

SirDavis is named in honor of Davis Hogue, Knowles-Carter's paternal great-grandfather, who was a farmer and a moonshiner in the American South during Prohibition. For Knowles-Carter, it was this discovery that made the idea of creating a whisky brand feel predestined. Moët Hennessy tapped Dr. Bill Lumsden, one of the world's most awarded and highly regarded Master Distillers for his work on Scotch whisky brands Glenmorangie and Ardbeg, to lead on whisky creation.

Lumsden selected the brand's bespoke mash bill — one of the rarest new offerings in the world of American whisky composed of 51% rye and 49% malted barley — to serve as the backbone of the liquid. Lumsden then combined traditional whisky-making techniques to impart an elegant mouthfeel and texture reminiscent of Japanese and Scotch whiskies, while retaining the robust and deep flavors typical of classic American rye.

To validate SirDavis's quality, the liquid was anonymously submitted to numerous prestigious spirits competitions prior to launch. SirDavis won Best In Class for American Whiskey from the 2023 SIP Awards, outperforming over 100 other entries in the category. Awarded to only one brand per category, this award is reserved for premium spirits receiving scores in the pinnacle of their respective categories and is SIP's highest acclaim from consumer judges.

Other notable scores include a Gold Medal (95 points) from the 2023 New York International Spirits Competition and a 93-point rating from the 2023 Ultimate Spirits Challenge.

Knowles-Carter also lent her visionary artistic direction to the brand's bottle design - a tall, eye-catching bottle with intentional design elements that make the vessel an unmistakable beacon of luxury.

The SirDavis bottle is striking and clean, with ribbed glass that beautifully catches light and highlights the liquid. It also features a black medallion with a regal bronzed horse, emblematic of strength and respect and symbolizing Knowles-Carter's Texas roots.

In another nod to Knowles-Carter's Southern heritage, the whisky is finished, blended and bottled in her home state of Texas. Unlike other acquired brands, SirDavis also makes history as Moët Hennessy's first spirits brand developed entirely internally by Moët Hennessy in the United States. SAN DIEGO, Aug. 20, 2024- Alongside eCommerce partner Speakeasy Co, WhistlePig Whiskey announced its latest brand collaboration with Brother's Bond Bourbon, bundling two best selling products that aim to generate profit towards Regenerate America.
