How will Crierball get made? It all starts by finding football's most dedicated fans and biggest crybabies, so Fireball is going where those folks are sure to be: the most anticipated pro and collegiate rivalry games of the season. On those dates, Fireball will be stationed near each stadium once the games conclude, fully outfitted in red hot gear and donning "Fireball Tear Collector" uniforms for easy identification. Weeping, defeated fans will be asked to donate their tears to a noble cause: the creation of Crierball Whisky.

There isn't a limit on the quantity of tears that can be collected on the specified dates - the more bawling there is, the more tears for future whisky infusion. Every drop shed and shared will be captured and stored in sealed, sterile jars then safely transported to a secure facility for storing and distillation. All watery eyes are welcome.

"We expect the tears we capture will undergo a meticulous, months-long process of sterilization and distillation before ultimately becoming Crierball. Our plan is to have this salty-cinnamon innovation ready for next football season so the victorious can hold last season's triumph over their rivals' heads for just a little bit longer," said Suich.

Crierball plays off the new ad campaign Fireball unveiled earlier this year featuring comedians, friends and diehard football fans Stavros Halkias and Andrew Santino. LOUISVILLE, Ky., Oct. 28, 2024- The just-released 2024 list of the World's Most Admired Whiskies published by Drinks International includes legendary distillers from Scotland, Japan, Ireland, and beyond. For the second consecutive year, Michter's, the Louisville-based maker of bourbon, rye, and American whiskey, has placed first on the top-50 list.

The rankings, which are determined by an Academy of independent global drinks buyers, journalists, bartenders and whisky experts from more than 20 countries, represent the pinnacle of achievement in the global whisky trade. The annual Drinks International ranking is considered the definitive list of the world's best whiskies. Springbank and Yamazaki, two iconic distillers, were named Most Admired Whisky in 2022 and 2021, respectively.

The 2024 results demonstrate that American whiskey is being recognized for its excellence by connoisseurs around the world. Michter's President Joseph J. Charlotte-Area Small Business Donates 200% of Every Bottle Sold During “Empty the Shelves for Carolina” Fundraiser to Community Foundation of Henderson County

CHARLOTTE, NC  (October 28, 2024) – As the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene continues to be deeply felt by residents of western North Carolina, Charlotte-based Oaklore Distilling Co. raised $52,000 for survivors through its recent “Empty the Shelves for Carolina” fundraising efforts. The money has been donated to the Community Foundation of Henderson County to support their outstanding work in assisting the local community through the Foundation’s Rebuild Fund.

From October 11th to October 20th, Oaklore donated 200% of all bottle sales from the retail store inside its distillery. In total, nearly 350 bottles of Oaklore’s Bourbon, North Carolina Rye Whiskey, vodka, rum and gin were sold over the ten days to folks in the Charlotte area looking to support this worthy cause, with Oaklore doubling the final sales total.

“We’re heartbroken for all the residents and small businesses that were affected by Hurricane Helene and we wanted to help in a meaningful way,” says Oaklore co-founder Matt Simpkins. “As a North Carolina small business ourselves, all of our employees were determined to leverage any resources Oaklore had to make an immediate impact.”

“We can’t thank the local community enough for their unbelievable outpouring of support,” co-founder Tom Bogan says. “What was most heartwarming to us was how many people bought their first bottle of whiskey ever to be part of this fundraising effort. Nothing showed more clearly how dedicated folks in the Charlotte area are to helping those in need in western North Carolina.”

Spirits available during the fundraiser included North Carolina Straight Rye Whiskey, Four Grain Bourbon Whiskey, Original Vodka, Original Gin, Original Rum, Bloody Butcher Corn Straight Bourbon Whiskey and Angel Barrel Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey. Each spirit is handcrafted and distilled at Oaklore Distilling Co., located at 11136 Monroe Rd in Matthews.

The bottle and packaging design embody the essence of the ageing process, a theme central to the distillery's heritage. Eight Oaks is launching an evolution of its brand with a new style.

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Oct. 15, 2024 Old Forester®, the first bottled bourbon, and King Ranch, the birthplace of American Ranching, today released the third annual batch of their limited-edition whiskey – Old Forester King Ranch.

The bourbon pays homage to the hard work, ingenuity and lasting legacy of two iconic brands with 300 years of combined American history – the heritage of the Brown family of Brown-Forman and the lineage of King Ranch founder Richard King.

"This bourbon is rich and bold in taste – the perfect tribute to two rich and bold American brands," said Old Forester Assistant Master Distiller Caleb Trigo.

Available only in Texas starting October 15, 2024, Old Forester King Ranch Edition is bottled at 105 proof from a proprietary batch of Old Forester Bourbon using heavily charred barrels. The bourbon is finished through King Ranch mesquite charcoal. The charcoal was created from mesquite trees harvested from the ranch, a process that brings a touch of Texas and helps highlight the bold flavor notes of the bourbon.

"We are proud of our continued partnership with Old Forester and looking forward to another release of this special product," said Robert Hodgen, CEO of King Ranch. "Texans have found the whiskey a rare treat and every year have been anxiously anticipating its release each October."
